cause you can make me smile.

Cause words can't bring me down. (:

My days are really busy, and I'm surviving. I have no idea why, but somehow I'm working really fast but not exactly hard. I calculated, and I'll be doing 12 LifePACs for July. It's just shocking me cause I've already done 7. =\ Man, I really should slow down in my work, cause I don't want to be graduating too soon. :D eh, but to me, I'm not hurrying, just going at a perfectly good speed. Nope, no stress.

Well, time to rewind. Memories! =)

Cheer! oh joy. (:

Gracie darhling. =D

Zoe! I hate to think bout November, even if my birthday's then.

Cambodia. Lakes. Shimmering water.

Touch the sky. Learning to fly. =)

 When I was 11..

..and full of energy! =P

Check it out! I look so young, and I'm ice skating. x)

This has been a favorite for years.

Maine. I miss you. :(

Man, how I wish I could be young again. Check out the eyes without glasses. :D Actually, I had specs then, but my eye sight was really rather good, so I hardly wore them outdoor. Gosh, no eye bags. How lucky. Now, my eyes bulge. D: Really want to get contacts soon. Parents: when you're 15. Me: that's next year! Parents: yea, in November. boos! :(

..and she's really busy these days. Thinking, working, planning. Trying to be organized. Trying to get her priorities right. One totally effortless try. As you can see, I'm blogging! *guilty smile*

..because I'm wondering if you care. But maybe you just don't show it in the most obvious way. Maybe I don't either. Maybe we all don't. I just wish I knew for sure that you did. I just wish you knew that I care.

Do you remember?

..do you?

Just this morning, I was arranging my beloved stuff animals nicely on my spare bed. (Yes, my room has two beds! I can sleep on which ever I want. hahaa) I tenderly picked up Daisy and was putting on her clothes for her, when I looked at them all - my beloved teddy bears, dogs, and odd creatures like a deer, a goose, and even a sea horse.

"Do you remember? Matelda, Lollipop, Berry, Tigger and Eeyore? Violet and Star? The picnics?"

Everything rushed back into my mind. The times when I got them. Tigger and Eeyore - my sister and I had received them for Christmas along with two huge boxes full of brightly wrapped presents from an unknown stranger. It was such a blessing. Daisy and Meadow - a Walmart compound where we carefully picked them, and stuffed them. Then, with skillful eyes, picked clothes for them. Honey aka Blossom and Sweety - our friends Alyssa and Amanda gave them to us when we about to leave U.S.

Not only stuffed animals. For us, summer meant a lot in Maine. We'd take out our bikes from the basement the minute all snow had melted and bike around our front yard singing in mere joy. We'd draw a play house with chalk on our driveway, never forgetting the smallest detail like a tap to watch our hands in the bathroom. When meals came in our play house, we'll go into the lawn and pick up the wild strands of sweet grass. Mm, weren't they delicious.

Fall and spring. The screams of delight as a deer came out of the woods into our backyard. The stories of Moose in our pond. And we never even saw it! The, "quick Hazel come!!" from my mom when she spotted a moose running across the drive way. And I came out with my toothbrush. =) I fondly named the moose Speedy. Moose are rare to see.

And winter. When our church friend arrives and plowed the snow off our driveway and makes one huge high pile of snow for my sis and I to play in. We'd hurriedly change into a thousand layers and off we go. We get so hot outside the scarf would come off first, then the hat, then the jacket. Till we only have our snow pants and sweater on. Then our ears would start freezing and we would quickly put on our hats. My dad would come with the ice chipper, and we'll make a house out of the pile of snow even with steps and shelves. And I insisted for a nice box shaped pillow made out of snow. This time, for fake meals we'll have handfuls of snow. =) oh the fun.

"oh, do you remember, Daisy? Do you remember Meadow, Blossom, Sweety? Do you miss Matilda, Eeyore, Tigger, Berry, Lollipop? Do you, do you?"

Only then did I realize that 3 out of my 6 bears would only "remember". Sweety and Blossom only came into my life when I was just about to leave. And the other, I got here. I stared at their blank faces. Quietly, I buried my face into Daisy and hugged her tight.

I think about the darhling Tigger, Eeyore, and Matilda with the rest in the big, plastic, black trash bag, in the basement where moth will eat them up. And they probably are all eaten up already. It's been 3 to 4 years already.

I remember my friends, the fun we had together. No, we never went off to the mall to watch the latest movie or go ice skating like you do here. We'd just go to one of our homes, and play in the backyard. We'll cycle around the huge lawn screaming at each other. We'd draw huge flowers or a fancy home in chalk all across the road. We'd sit in jet tubes and bombard each other with bubbles. We'd play doctor with my dolls and dress up my teddies.

I remember the joy I had as I went to bed, and snuggled down under the thick layers of blankets pilled on me. The screams in the middle of the night for "dadddyyy!" and he'll come and put another layer of blankets upon me.

I remember coming back from playing in the snow, taking of our wet socks and getting warmth into our frozen toes, hands, and ears. I remember the big old oak table in the kitchen and having a nice big cup of hot chocolate with my sugar coated biscuits.

And I remember the tears, the hard times my family and I went through.
Man, when I think about this, I miss Maine more than ever. oh, but I'm so blessed.
So, so blessed. And I'm really grateful. Even if.. I wish I was still there.

"oh Daisy. Do you remember..?"

just a bit of inspiration, pleasseee!

Someone tell me.. what happen to us?
I feel so dis-united once again.

I wish we could talk again like we used to, Sarah.
I wish Beeps would tell me her problems again like before.

oh Zoe.. I'm gonna miss you. =\

memories for a lifetime

Pictures will fade, people will disappear, but memories will last forever. =)

That's why I love this topic. It always last.

Let's just rewind into picture blogging of my last 13 years on this world! Yesie, I can pose! =DD

1994

1995

1996 (2 years old)

1999 (5 years old)

2000 (6 years old)

2003 (9 years old)

2004 (10 years old)

2005 (11 years old)

2006 (12 years old)

Beginning 2007 and end (13 years old)

Early 2008 (14 years old)

The changes in a few years time. How amazingly wonderful. =) Between 2006 to 2007 there is drastic changes. heh. Firstly, I am as tall as my mother now. =P And as for 2007, in my opinion, there is a lot of changes. =D

Thanks so much, Father, for bringing me this far in my life. Just looking at pictures, I can see how much I've grown physically if not spiritually. As I continue to grow, my prayer is to grow more and more into Your image. May this year be a year full of changes for the better!

Memories: what year?

Memories again. But they help cheer me up. I guess. Last post was about 2007, this post is, well, about a year which I don't remember. I don't remember what year it was, of course I remember what happen that year! LOL, if I didn't my post would be like this: and then this and that happen, except I forgot.

I read in Soph's blog: What is time? Is it the autumn leaves that change? Or the snow that floats from the sky. Yea, and it brought memories back, about seasons. About different weathers. I sure do miss winter and snow. Autumn and leaves changing colors. And spring, the trees beginning to bud. I don't miss summer though, why, it's always summer here!

I shall rewind, and go back into my world.

Spring

When the snow starts melting, everyone's excited. After all, after a long winter of snow storms and snow plowing, and just trying to keep yourself warm, you're quite tired of snow! But as the snow melts, the once white world becomes dirty with muddy snow. You wonder how long it'll take before all the snow is finally gone.

It's nice to drive along the narrow country paths and see all the trees budding into new life. To see everything burst back into new life, new leaves growing, which will fall off during autumn and be swept away. Over and over again. I love the fresh smell of pollen coming into my nose and the sense of new life starting again.

Yes, it looks almost as nice as that. There no sun, just some puffy clouds. Sometimes the sky is so clear there isn't a cloud in sight. It's so beautiful. And the temperature is wonderful. Around 60F. Don't know how to convert to to Celsius, but it's around Cameron Highlands weather. Yea, wonderful!

Summer

Summer isn't that different then over here. Sumer over there isn't as hot as here. It's around 80F. Which is also nice. I used to enjoy summer over there cause it was the only time I could experience the sun and sun tan. And only for a few months! Yea, I got really tan during summer cause I stayed out in the sun all the time. Even played basketball and capture the flag with all my crazy classmates which were mostly boys. Did I ever tell you that there was only 3 girls in my class, and 7 boys? yea, anyways...

I love to go strawberry picking! Over here, the strawberries aren't sweet at all compared to the ones in Maine and Massachusetts. Man, are they so sweet and juicy! I was picking them and popping tons in my mouth at the same time! It's allowed you know. Seriously...

Autumn

It should be autumn now over in Maine. The leaves should be falling and everyone would be busy raking the leaves away. I love this time of the year. Jumping into leave piles are the funnest thing to do! And your hands are getting numb. Once, we were so cold and we ate ice cream. Cause when you're cold and eat ice cream, your body gets warmer. No kid.

Yea, fun. fun.

Winter

Last, but certainly not least. Winter is my favorite! The coldness makes me excited. I still wish that when I look out the window I can see it snowing. Then will come the rush to put a bowl outside so we can catch the snow and eat it! Sure is yummy with Maple syrup! Yum.Yum.

This so reminds me of the road in front of my house. When you drive you have to drive super slowly. Else, there goes your car! ahaha. And winter isn't fun for adults cause they have to dig out the driveway and car! As for me, I wrap myself well and go out to play!

I once put this pic above as my display picture. One weird comment:

jOn Rob has sent you a nudge
jOn Rob says: thats u
jOn Rob says: feeling
jOn Rob says: snow
jOn Rob says: I never felt snow b4
h@z3L-cH@z3L-m@z3L says: oh
h@z3L-cH@z3L-m@z3L says: me feeling snow, lol
h@z3L-cH@z3L-m@z3L says: no, I’m playing in the snow
jOn Rob says: but did you feel it
h@z3L-cH@z3L-m@z3L says: obviously
h@z3L-cH@z3L-m@z3L says: unless I was so numb with cold that I couldn’t
jOn Rob says: haha
jOn Rob says: how did it feel
h@z3L-cH@z3L-m@z3L says: it feels hard
h@z3L-cH@z3L-m@z3L says: but I have mittens on
jOn Rob says: cool

ahahahahahah

Yea, don't we look fat? ahaha. That's because we're wearing tons of layers. First of all, long johns. Seriously, that's the name. It's like these PJ's which cling onto you. They keep you really warm. Then you put on 2 sweaters. And your snow pants which are thick and water prof. Then, 100% cotton socks. And your winter jacket. Then a hat and scarf, it not ear warmers also. And not to forget mittens and snow boots. Sometimes I'm wrapped up so well I get hot and sweaty. That's when you unzip your jacket and take off your hat and scarf! ahaha...

Yea, I so miss the seasons. And I wish I could bring them to Malaysia. Maybe Malaysia would be perfect then. ahahah... except it'll be kinda unprepared. First of all, you need heaters! hehe..

If only the seasons came;
If life could become alive again
Then maybe, I'll be happy.

Bringing 'em Back

whee...

memories

"bringing 'em back"

Have you ever remembered such wonderful times you had with a certain friend, and cried? Because they all got swiped away and you are no longer as close as you were before? Well, I have and I just wanted to share them with you. It's good it remember times you've had with your friends and family, it encourages you and strengthens you to...well...

...face the future...

friends

Having friends is a necessary thing in life. For one whole year my only friend which I saw everyday was my sister. My other friends were one whole world away. They were on the other side of the world. Yep, and I missed them all...

all... from my very closest friend, Becka, to the most craziest one, Luke! Yep, I missed the noise they made in the classroom, the times we went gossiping about .... and all the fun we had. Can you believe it, during recess I would actually go and play Captain's ball with them, yep, the boys! Now I would never! =) haha... just wait till I will!

and I have memories here in Malaysia too...

going to GRC...

the loneliness! whoosh! yep, and then adjusting! And those random "hi"s from Roberts and Sarah's friendliness, Naomi accepting me and Zozo in the testing room. haha... and Rachel too! Making friends with Middlers and small little juniors! They are friendlier from the start! Haha, then slowly adjusting to the seniors, Shab, Chanelle and Grace...

..Broga Camp!!..

Being in Shabeta's team... in the same dorm as zozo! Sharing secrets with Melinda, Beeps and Zoe! Making a boy code! Guess what? I am the creator of the boy code!! And beeps too! And because of ME, the boys made a girl code! They copied my idea! O_o

and bad memories too. Like that horrible Tuesday and then the time following that. Tension... but I'm not gonna tell you about that...

and a lot more...

But last but not least, a new memory is coming up! One we'll never forget and always treasure. One that will be a great memory and will be written and is written all over our blogs! And that is...?

...GRC Youth Rally 2007...

so come... and 'xpect the unexpected

Remembering...

Guess what? Someone just made my day. I received two wonderful e-cards from my friend! Love you too, Becka...

Was thinking this morning about my charm bracelet...and would like to share what each charm reminds me of...

puppy-my wish for years

heart (used to have a stone in it but fell off) -it reminds me that my heart used to be in Maine and then when I moved to Malaysia it fell of, but the outline is still there, my heart still remands in Maine.

USA-still remember the times I had there-first snowstorm I'd seen, tasting strawberries

Hawaiian flower- Malaysia, I still like Malaysia, cause I've made a lot of friends...

dangling butterfly-Mrs. Desjardin, my teacher, cause she had the same charm

H-I am special and I was created for a purpose

horse-my sister, cause she gave me this charm, and of the times I had riding horses

dangling smile-reminds me to smile, cause God loves me, and I have lots of friends that are very dear!

And that's all...from now on I'm gonna wear that bracelet, so I'll remember all of you
