Sports Fiesta!

So, it ended up pretty fun, and like I expected. All you do is listen to the trumpets, panic and dance to the music, and then buy drinks, more drinks, and cheer your lungs out. :P

Of course, there was the added parts that we did not happen last year. Such as the friendly soccer game GRC vs. BFC. Honestly, but the GRC jersey sucks. HEH. And as expected, BFC won. But it was a good effort as that was GRC's first game.

&& team A got 3rd placee. Give me a wooohooo. :) We are awesomee.I mean like seriously, Eagle's Wings rocks bottoms. What more, our banner was the best. :P

Its so awesome right? Love the olive branches that Melinda and I added, plus the Scripture, words, the beautiful gold eagle too. :)

Plus, I gotta see the dearly beloveds. Okay, scratch the 's' cause like, there's only Gracie. :) Haha, but yes, I got to see Tommy and Gilbert after a long time.
Gracie and three of us cheer gals. :)

My pretty Pom whom I love to tease. :)

Esther! :)

But, then at the end, it was distasterous. D: Was in the midst of having telly matches when Fer and I decided to go to A&W. Went to get my money in my bag and found out that my handbag was stolen! OMG, panic! No, like seriously, I went like mental. What more, my hangbag was in a big duffel bag hidden by my clothes, and the genius took out only the handbag and left me my clothes and all. What more, he was so smart to steal my bag of all bags, it only have RM50 inside, no watch, no camera, no phone. And all around my bag was other cheerleader's things such as cameras and phones. =( Well, nothing much was gone that means too much except I had some precious memories stored up in my wallet, and my Forever Z&M necklace is goneee! (that's the saddest part, I just can't get over the fact that its gone.) And my lip medicine is gone also, plus my contacts, but not like the stealer can make any use of them right? Seriously.

Went to Bee's house after that. Her family is pretty hilarious. Her brother, Robin, was like to us girls (Bee, Sarah, Lyd, and I), "Waa, you guys all same color." HAHA. And then, her cousins or sisters-in-law's to be kept saying to Bee, "You're black already." We heard that about 10 times just during lunch. ;) And of course, seeing Roan (aka. Roanne).

The rally at church was okay, and different. Identity = Christ. :) Daniel Ross taught us to carry our own identity with Christ, and just to be ourselves. Life's too short to be someone else, anyway. (Bee said Daniel Ross looks like Channing Tatum, what a Bee thing to say). Anyway, I met him in PD last December. And he's really hilarious. :P

Okay, here's the cheerleading video that is pretty terrible, I am not exaggerating, it really is. It was SO messy, and the timing awfully wrong, but I mean, its pretty good if you keep in mind that we only had 2 weeks to learn all of it, plus, problems to overcome, and lastly, juniors. D: Keep that in mind while you watch. ;)

And a BIG thanks to Melinda. You are awesome girl, and thanks for giving up so much of your time to teach us all the moves, plus choreograph it all, helping us to make pom poms, doing our makeup for us, coming with us to wherever us cheerleaders had to go, designing the uniform, and last but definitely not least, having patience. :)

P/s. I am so glad there's no school tomorrow. :]

just the way it is.

I think we're ready. So thus,

GO GREEN AND WHITE,
GRC CHEERLEADERS '09.

Tomorrow's the big day when we rock the field. :)
So don't be discouraged, we are the girls.

Thursday, July 30, 2009

My girls are awesomee. :D
+ Melinda + Pom + Kimberly + Cindy

I mean, we all have our differences, but coming together to do something like this with each other has so totally brought us all closer. :) I've hardly talked to Cindy, Esther Chin, and Kimberly before this, and now I have to admit, its awesome fun! Sarah and I laughed our bellies out today during cheer prac. We were appearantly sharing this extremely hilarious secret, and going a bit high. Okay, scratch the 'a bit'.

A BIG thanks you Melinda for teaching us all the moves and having buckets of patience. :) You rock big time, and are a great dancer.

Plus, extra plus, we mastered the end pyramid today. Like, the timing and all! :D Girl POWER! (HAHA, winks to Sarah, the song in the car.. LOL)

WE TOTALLY ROCKED
ON THE BASKETBALL COURT TODAY!
Omg, I have to admit, it was just crazey fun!
--
TEAM A GOT SECOND PLACE!
I mean, common girls, give me a GO RED TEAM! :D

Bee with the pink bib, you are a STAR.
And you demonstrated great unity when you helped out in Team D.
We love you for that darling! :)

It was just the bomb. Girls play way more awesome than guys other than the part that we are always making mistakes and offences, but at least we talk to each other when we play. HAHA.

*Sarah trying to shoot, but keeps on missing.
*Saph goes, "SARAH, over here. Pass it to me. Dei, pass it to me. Dei!"
*Brando can't stop laughing.
*Sarah, "Eh, Brando, stop laughing lahh!"

But, after a while, we get real aggressive. But in the end, we get emotional breakdowns. I mean, two people today got emotional breakdowns okay, but you can't be surprised, we're girls! Yunnie was classic. She felt so bad cause when she asked Esther whether she was okay after she fell, Esther went "Don't touch me". At the end of the game, she comes over to us, and starts crying and all, she feels so bad. After we comfort her and all, she's all like, sniff and laugh. :P

But that was definitely an awesome match! :)

And now, for the I-am-so-exhausted-and-stressed part. My hips down are dead already. By tomorrow, they'll be decaying. No kid. Hip pains cause I fell on it when Emily whacked me and I went sliding. HAHA. I have to say, I have never seen anyone play in the basketball court more hilariously then Emily, Kimberly, and Meera. Man, Meera is classic. She is so cute! ;)

I have a poem to anaylize, and poem to write myself, and a test to study for tomorrow. Plus, tomorrow, we might have to spend the whole day making pom poms, or going to the tailor and getting the cheer uniform down and settled with. Means I can't skip school, which I'm practically dying to do. Common, I'm like so jealous of my sis who gets to stay at home every single day and not face the exhausion I face nowadays.

Plus, I really miss Fer. Like, please get well soon! :)

cause it's late, and your mama don't know!

Taylor Swift - Our Song
Stuck in my head :D
Wooo-o man! Hazel is happeyyy. (:
Man, school was just so fun!

Forever cheerleaders! (:
That's Joyce with the bridge and Esther behind me.

Yep! After lunch. =P (I mean, it was still recess lahh) Thanks to a wonderful Melinda who's like experienced in cheerleading. It's so fun kayy. I mean, the first time I almost got a heart attack cause you have to put faith in Esther when you literally fall back into the unknown. But she's a really good catcher, so yea. It was fine. After school, we did it again and Bee as catcher . OMG. She's so strong you don't have to worry AT all. =)

Practically, that's it. Took back all my LifePAC books, 42 in total. And my sis only had 19 to take back. Like, my gosh. I have so many books. x) Is that good or bad, eh? heh.

And lastly, but obviously not least. Birthdays! There's two today. =D

Jinn Yee
I had a note to give her, but then they stopped me from giving it till after the 'surprise' and I totally forgot after that. TSK! 'Nways, wishing you the greatest of birthdays! You're a really great example to us all. Keep rocking!

Anna
This adorable young darhling is from my parent's CG. Must say parent's CG cause I have my own. Well, I attend their CG as well. So yea, the family consisting 4 children and Anna is the second youngest. Turning 7 (?) I believe. She adores my sister. hahaa! Which I don't understand. Oops. Yes, of coursee. =P Happy birthday darhling. I'll wish you personally tonight. ;D

Our song is the slamming screen door,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
Cause it's late and your mama don't know

woopies. Here's the video. Taken by my sis with our cacat camera, so yea. It doesn't pick up sounds so I added the sound track to it. Enjoy!

Don't disappoint her, pleasee. You don't deserve it anyways.
I beg you, whatever you do, don't treat her like you treated me.

Love you Zoe! =)

Man, does anyone have a pic of the last pose from the center view? I'm cut out in this one. hahaha.

And the band..You guys did great. =)

Lastly..

Zoe! =)
And miss prettehh.

Over all, it was fun. I mean, you take out the suckish parts. Like, if you had dared Matthew, I would of like of gotten you back, and um.. embarrass you with ahem. HAHAHAHA. =) Okay, fine, I'm not that mean. Oh, and cheer. It was so cool how when Low started playing there was a loud scream. WOOTS. I can't wait for another event. =)

oh and..Thanks so much for everything, Ms. Jazbia. I've got to know you so much more then someone who is really strict. =) A pastor's wife isn't that scary. After all, my mother is one right. hahaha!

by His strength

Becka, you just saved me. I was beginning to think I couldn't do it, after how exhausted I got today. =\

So, tomorrow's the big day. This morning, I wasn't nervous at all. I mean, even if we had to shake our butts at the band. hahaa! But, gosh, we found it to be so exhausting. Our practices have been really luxury. Air condition and even floor. It's really hard to do it in the sun with an uneven ground. Especially, when we have to get down on our knees and all. The gravel/pebbles kill.

So yea, I'm nervous now. Like really nervous. I stress that someone will forget her poms, or a ribbon is lost in the process of tying it on, or something like that.

Let's just remember..

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

We're praying REALLY hard before we perform tomorrow.

and here we go again

Cross Country Race. And after all, I didn't have to run. I mean, Miss Cath you totally saved my life. Else, gosh. Get ready for my funeral. HAHAHA. Last year, I was totally exhausted. I remember just trying my hardest to get it finished with and in the end I won 9th place. eh. Riighhttt.

Instead I got to do timing. Woopies. I remember my sis telling me that yesterday night, I was practically jumping up and down with happiness! Gosh, thank you so much Miss Cath!

So yea. You guys did great. I used up all my voice cheering you all. hahaa! =)

She rocks. Common, we were bored. xD

So this is what happens. We were like all cooled down from running, me included cause I was in the hot sun right, when Mrs. Jasbeer comes and asked us to show her our cheerleading dance. We were like, WHAT?! In the end, she asked us to practice till 12.30. It was the quietest and most unenergetic practice ever. Gosh, duh we were exhausted.

And to end off, I got a terrible cramp in the shoulder after that. It sucks k. Gosh, I'm so exhausted. =\

I'm off.

why?

Ever since Silas could talk, he always had to know why. You tell him to do something, you always know the reply you'll get. "Why?" After replying his first why, he'll ask it again. Most of the times, I manage to satisfy him but sometimes I get totally lost of answers. "Just because Silas!"
--
Today brings to us a new month. I mean, dong. It's May already. Well, this morning I was thinking about what I went through during April. It's time to reflect..

Just because..

You know something. I once was just like Silas. Circumstances come and I'm sitting there wondering why, why, and why me! Yes, and only focusing on that one thing because I want to know why. But you know, I learned that I don't need to know the why of things. Firstly, cause it might hurt me more. Plus, I'm not meant to know. Secondly, because knowing the why of things is not going to change anything!

I also realized that being depressed totally sucks. Seriously. I'm not rebuking those who are 'emo' all the time, because.. Well, look. They have worst problem then I do. I'm not kidding. Once upon a time, Hazel was emo a lot of times because someone didn't talk to me for 1 day? eh. Those days, I seriously had nothing better to do. And I repeat, I have such a tiny weeny problem compared to others. There's so much more in life.

Of Teamwork

April brought something very important into many of our lives. 9 of us especially. I mean, it took up a lot of our time and all. But, it's fun and it gets us excited. I respect you all for always trying your best. And for discipline and teamwork. Man, with no adult around during practice, we could easily fool around. Indeed. But somehow there was always this tension inside of us to practice. In those practices and times we spent together, I not only learned how to cheer, make poms, and change into costumes with giggling and screaming girls behind curtains, but also to respect each one of you as someone special. Everyone counts. Without even one of you, the routine would be incomplete. There needs to be teamwork, before we can succeed.

Bye Bye

As every month comes to an end, I hate to think that it's one month closer to November. Not that I hate November, 'ello my birthday's in that month. ooh, Zoe. I will you so much, you'll never be able to tell how much. But you wanna know something? Something that keeps me going. I'll never have to say bye, cause you'll always be in my heart, dear. And even if we might not be able to see each other again, we will in heaven. :) It won't be hard to find you, you'll be the prettiest angel there, the one that looks like me.. ;D

oh, and in April I wrote my first will. hehe.

Get it into your head

Hillsong - Undignified :)

Fold. Cut. Tie. Trim. Fold. Cut. Tie. Trim. Foldcuttietrim. Green and white. Green and white. Green and white. Greenandwhite. I mean, we got that routine really suck into our head. So much.. it got jumbled up?

Yep. Us cheer squad got enough of making poms. It practically took us all day to make them. Dong! Who would of guessed that they're so hard to make. One pom took at least 1 hour to make. I mean, excluding Sarah, she was cutting up everything first and lying them all over the floor like she was drying seaweed. heh. =P It took extra longer.

So after all, when we finally finished.. we got like 1 hour to work. Like actually sit down and work. What a relief. I mean, you should of seen my hands. The green paper like makes your fingers green as well. It took like another 15 min of our precious 1 hour just to wash it off. Well, even after much scrubbing, it still hadn't come off. Grace and I were actually grateful to sit ourself down on a proper seat. hahaa!

*School bell rings* And we go practice again. Man, tiring.

Don't talk. Just get ready for a blast! =D

ooh, and random fact. Qi Sheun keeps confusing me and Zoe. He was like, "you two look alike." I mean, we stopped looking alike a long time ago. =\

Friday, April 25, 2008

gilbert.. says:

So yea, here's your proof Gilbert Tan. tsk.
--
Anyway, today was one rush of a day. Come to think of it, I hardly did any work. So yea, right after break we were rushed into the reception to get our cheerleading costume whatever you call it thingy. heh. It's green and white, but at least it's cheap. Well, cheaper than 140 lah. I mean, it's okay. There was this rush of changing, and finding the right size. Paul Mae is wearing a big size skirt then me. I know, how embarrassing. =\

Well, after practice there was worship practice. So I was pretty much rushing here and there. =) oh well, it feels good to be 'doing' something, ya know. =P

a perfect ending?

Just a quick post to keep my blog from dying.
As if it will. teehee.

Well, one big high five to the whole cheerleading squad! You guys did awesome today. Seriously. And well, that day will come and I want you all (including me) to feel confident and proud once we've succeeded.

We just proved that practice makes perfect and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Half of us have never ever tried cheerleading before. See what we can achieve when we work hard for it?

Keep it up girls! =)
Grace, Esther, Paul Mae, Natasha Zoe, Melinda, Jia Yu, Joyce, me, and never forgetting Sarah.

Mr. Birthday boy

Well well. Another birthday.
Happy Birthday Kelvin Wong!

There's no other way to describe this boy then AWESOME!!
Somehow, everyone just loves the way he acts. Just as himself. He's never afraid of what people think of him. And we all love him bunches cause of who he is. =)

Yes, I stole it. teehee. But it's wonderfully edited. And duh, isn't is so obviously that Kelvin rocks. ;D

Birthday alert! Gilbert, Fai, and Lydia!
May =) Cheerleading! Red and White. *bigsmiles*

the redemptive power of love

Parents play a very big part in your life.
But literally, they love you so much you get your way.
That's why I actually appeared in school today. teehee. ;D

Anyways..interesting conversation with my dad and sis yesterday. We were talking about the Japanese food. Yum.

DAD: You guys ate all my shrimp!
SISTER: I only ate one!
DAD: There was only 3.
SISTER: No, I thought there was 5?
DAD: 3
SISTER: No! 5!
ME: Let me check the pic. *goes to the camera*
SISTER: *giggles*
few minutes later
ME: I think there's four.
SISTER: *burst out with ever flowing laughter*

LOL? Always the peacemaker. tsk tsk. :D
--
oh and cheerleading is finally proceeding on.
It took ages to get the video. Just got it. =)
And on Wed, we're having this long practice all the way up till 6:30pm.
And the audience goes.. WHAT? heheehahaa! I'm not kidding here.
And Melinda is joining us since Sarah can't make it.
Believe it or not, she was cheerleading in her old school. *gasp*

Other than that, the day was literally very boring.
At least I went to school right? =D

Don't ask me about the title of this post.
It's just ultimately random.

Ume Tei Delight!

Yesterday, my family and I headed off to a mysterious restaurant after church. Well, it was mysterious to my mother, not to the rest of us of coursee. We had a delicious birthday dinner at a Japanese restaurant!

Pictures will tell the story..

While waiting for the food..
I got bored so I set up all my utensils and tea
for a most artistic picture in my eyes. LOL.

a Nigeri Sushi set which I ordered. =D

my sister's food. Sashimi Set!
Doesn't those big fat cubes of raw salmon make you so hungry?

Tempura!

This was part of my mom's interesting set.
Those round balls of stuff has mashed potatoes inside. Yum!

She also got a few pieces of sashimi. =)

That's pretty much all the pictures. I wish I had taken more pictures and the expressions on our faces when we were eating. OMG! Food delight! I was too busy eating to take anymore. But I guarantee, it was scrumptious!
--
And right now? The only word I can describe about how I'm feeling now is EXHAUSTED. Litterally, let's just say I'm tired of blowing my nose. I'm tired of being sick. And my gosh, I got sore yesterday cause of cheerleading on Friday. I know, I'm totally not fit. I'm much better today concerning sore-ness cause I put some sorta Ammi Votara cream which is totally unpredictable. I just proved that it works. Well, a bit lah. =\ It makes my hands so sticky.

I seriously think I can put the amount of tissues I use in the World Record book thingy. It's like type two words, and blow. =( *sniff* And worst of all, my parents aren't allowing us to go to school tomorrow. They insist that we rest. And if you don't know the Chang sisters, we'll probably do more work than ever in all our boredom. So yea, don't miss me too much and pray I get better k? And that I'll be able to bear my sis well. Or something like that. Stop her from working. lol?

Make sure you guys give me a full update of what happens tomorrow.
I'm depending on you all. =)

Friday, April 4, 2008

eh eh. no thankyou!

1, 2, 3 and 4 and..

I got the crazy cheerleading song into my head. Kidding.
It's not crazy at all, it rocks! xD
OMG you guys. Get ready for a shock on Sports Day. =D
Other than that, the day was totally normal.
Oh and yea, we have to practice our cheerleading 3 times next week. =\
--
Sarah was like emo and Jon said, "The world is full of shit."
Few minutes later, he told me something.
Later on, Sarah asked me what Jon said and I replied, "He said, 'You see right, the world population is very big so there's a lot of toilets.'"
Sarah burst out into laughter. =DD

And Chanelle's very lame joke. Hawkwardsss!

chasing lizards =)

Yesterday I got the craziest scare in my life.
Yep, you guessed it, a lizard in my house. That is just not allowed.
ugghh. They are so terrible. =\ I was like screaming my head off. The funnest part was when my dad and I started hitting it with bullets. But we never could actually hit it. It was in a too awkward position behind the curtains. =P Every time he send a "bullet" flying I would scream. It's just so freaky.

I finally left it alone and retreated into my room with a whole bunch of paper bullets and rubber bands say it decided to venture in. =) I know, I'm ultimately weird.

And for today, the only word is cheerleading!!
Man, the video was so cool. The whole time we were watching it, we were all so amazed and excited. First lessons tomorrow! =DD

Other than that, nothing much. =\
I changed my template again. :D
